Two Legislative Joint Committee Hearings on Senior Care Issues

  • Two Legislative Joint Committee Hearings on Senior Care Issues

The Legislature has scheduled the following two separate Committee hearings on senior care issues:

  • Joint Health Care on Elder Affairs – hearing is scheduled for June 12, 2023 and includes bills on Senior Care Organization accountability and transparency and Safe Staffing Levels that would set a minimum of 4.1; and 
     
  • Joint Committee on Health Care Financing – hearing is scheduled for June 13, 2023 and includes the Nursing Home Stabilization bill to provide further support for quality nursing facility care, as well as well as the Nursing Home Quality Jobs Initiative, and Nursing Home Infection Control.

Mass Senior Care will be testifying at both hearings. Please contact MSCA if you are interested in participating or learning more.
